Yup, folks, it’s true: everything has a playlist. New love, old love, awesome breakups, lousy breakups, dropping out, graduating, success, failure; even (bet you guessed it!) a sincere desire to dance like Cab Calloway!
“Well, Liz,” I hear you say, “As much as I really love Cab Calloway, I can’t seem to project a lifelike image of him on the inside of my eye. E.g., Liz, I can’t picture him dancing. What to do?”
I anticipate your needs. Here’s a video from youtube, Cab doing a sort of jerky dance; I’d wanted to show you a much smoother, cooler one, but it was part of THE SCARIEST CARTOON EVER, some Betty Boop awfullness that I’m pretty sure was meant to illustrate that first part of Paradise Lost – you know, the part where Satan’s all “bloom where you’re planted evil evil evil”.
